The OTET-2012 syllabus as developed by the TE & SCERT, Odisha as per the

guidelines of the NCTE, shall be applicable for the OTET-2021 (1st). The detail syllabus of

Application Fee

For SC/ ST category: Rs.300/-
For Other Category: Rs. 500/-
Payment can be made through Axis Bank Easy Pay only in following three ways:

i) Internet Banking (Online Mode)

(ii) Credit/ Debit Card (Online Mode)

(iii) Cash payment through bank challan (Offline mode)

Important Dates

Starting Date for Apply Online: 20-02-2021 at 08:00 AM
Last Date to Apply Online: 08-03-2021 till 11:45 PM
Last Date for payment of application Fee through Online/ Offline: 08-03-2021 till 11:45 PM

Note: However submission of form through online can be carried out till 09-03-2021 midnight.

Qualification

For Category – A:

Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT or D.El.Ed.). or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education). or
Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

For Category – B:

Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or
Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A./ B.Sc, Ed or B.A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).
